Capital Square Expands National Accounts Team With Addition of Phillip Jensen

Capital Square, a leading sponsor of tax-advantaged real estate investments and an active developer and manager of housing communities nationwide, today announced that Phillip Jensen has joined the firm as senior vice president, national accounts, and will also oversee sales efforts in the Northwest territory comprised of California, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming. In his new role, Jensen will work alongside Albert Thompson, senior vice president, national accounts, to build and strengthen strategic relationships with broker-dealers and registered investment advisers nationwide.

Jensen brings more than two decades of financial services experience to Capital Square. He has spent his career building capital formation and distribution relationships across the independent broker-dealer and registered investment adviser channels. Most recently, he served as managing director, capital formation and distribution at Purified Resource Partners, where he led national capital raising strategy and distribution efforts across broker-dealer and RIA channels for an emerging energy sponsor. Prior to that, he held the same role at Skyway Capital Markets, where he led capital formation for alternative investment sponsors and supported capital raising for real estate, debt and tax-advantaged fund sponsors.

Jensen earned his MBA and Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences from Lamar University. He holds the Accredited Asset Management Specialist designation and FINRA Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses.

Jack Reifsnider, regional vice president of Southeast sales, and Preston Nevins, vice president, Southeast and Blue Ridge sales, will continue to expand relationships throughout the Southeast territory.
