Signal Energy and Applied High Voltage Announce Strategic Rebrand to CoVolt Power, Inc.

Signal Energy and Applied High Voltage (AHV), leading providers of engineering, procurement, and construction (“EPC”) services, today announced their rebrand to CoVolt Power, Inc. This transformation marks a pivotal milestone in the companies’ histories, uniting their specialized expertise under a single, cohesive brand identity designed to accelerate progress on North America’s mandate to modernize and rapidly expand the grid.

The transition to CoVolt Power, Inc. (“CoVolt Power”) reflects the company’s evolution from a utility-scale solar EPC contractor into a broader power infrastructure platform serving the growing demand for complex, reliable, and scalable power solutions across the United States. By combining Signal Energy’s utility-scale solar, storage and data center construction capabilities with Applied High Voltage’s specialized substation and transmission expertise, CoVolt Power is positioned as an integrated power platform capable of delivering end-to-end infrastructure solutions for complex power challenges across renewable generation, grid infrastructure, industrial power, and data center markets.

“CoVolt Power represents the company we are becoming,” said Robert L. Tabb, President and Chief Executive Officer of CoVolt Power. “By bringing Signal Energy and Applied High Voltage together under one identity, we are creating a clearer, stronger platform for customers with increasingly complex power infrastructure needs. Our focus is delivering execution certainty at scale across generation, storage, high-voltage systems, and data centers. As we prepare for our next chapter, we remain focused on safely delivering high-quality projects for our customers and building the power infrastructure needed for the future.”

The name CoVolt Power represents the company’s commitment to collaborative power and demonstrating certainty in action. The power industry is evolving rapidly, requiring more integrated, sophisticated, and agile solutions.

“By becoming CoVolt Power, we are not just changing our name; we are integrating our capabilities and reinforcing our dedication to powering the future together with our clients and partners,” added Ronnie Shields, Chief Financial Officer of CoVolt Power.

The rebranding includes a new visual identity, featuring a modern logo and a color palette that evokes a balanced engineering precision with execution strength. The “Co” in CoVolt Power signifies Collaboration, Connection, and Commitment, while “Volt” emphasizes the company’s core strength in electrical infrastructure and high-voltage engineering. Additional elements of the company’s refreshed brand identity will be introduced over time.

Clients of Signal Energy and AHV can expect the same commitment to safety, quality, and innovation that has defined the companies for decades. The unification under CoVolt Power, Inc. will enhance project delivery through improved internal synergies, a broader shared resource pool, and a simplified interface for partners and stakeholders.
